It may be considered old news in today’s art world, but the “We the Free” girls still can’t get over Benjamin Verdonck’s “The Great Swallow” which consisted of a man, an egg… and a giant nest.  This installation by Verdonck is by far one of the most extreme and impressive artistic endeavors I’ve ever seen completed to date. Take a look at these photos and video from the “The Great Swallow” which was installed on the side of the Rotterdam Weena Tower in Rotterdam on May 16th- 22nd, 2008. Oh the crazy/ beautiful things people do!
