It’s been up for almost a month… and I haven’t seen many posts about it on the internet, but “Who Shot Rock and Roll” now being exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum of Art looks awesome and I know I’m going to go see it. The Museum claims that it’s goal with this exhibit is to “acknowledge the photographer’s creative and collaborative role in history of rock music.” Sounds pretty sweet to me. Check out some photos being shown at the exhibit:

Today I got to visit the Paula Hayes exhibit currently showing on the roof and in the project space of the Marianne Boesky gallery in Chelsea and it was well worth leaving Brooklyn!

Paula Hayes has really been able to re-create little universes with her terraniums that have been glass blown by hand. In the project space when looking at all of the little worlds together you feel like you’re in a universe looking at little planets! This exhibit is going to make me follow Paula Hayes as an artist, and definatley revisit the Mariann Boesky Gallery  for future exhibits!

The Press Release given by the Marianne Boesky gallery for Paula Hayes’ exhibit states that the work requires interaction and nurturing  from humans which makes them unique. It also describes the terrariums as portable gardens. How amazing!
