Keep NYC Art Alive this weekend by attending the NYC Book Art Fair at PS1. The fair holds over 200 publications of independent magazines and books. Here at “We the Free,” we are most excited about PINUP’s stand as well as the Brooklyn- based publications Kingsboro Press and Decathlon. “Decathalon” is actually a series of artist books that’s actually constructed from our Sales Associate, Chrissy’s favorite professors from PRATT! It is no secret that we love pooches here at “We the Free,” so today when I picked up a copy of “AM New York” and saw a section dedicated to dogs I had to share the info! Here’s some great things going on in the city for women’s (and man’s!) best friends:
Mexican Radio Fundraiser for “Bobbi and the Strays!”
Mexican Radio, one of Korin’s favorite Mexican restaurants… is having a fundraiser September 22nd for the Queens animal shelter “Bobbi and the Strays.” 24% of their profit all day will go to this great organization that helps out abandoned pooches in Queens!
