The vacated store front across the street from “We the Free” on Smith and Pacific has just been bought/ leased. People have been spotted in there yesterday by our undercover “We the Free” girls checking out the space for renovation. We have NO IDEA what our new neighbor is going to be. We love our current fellow Smith- Street businesses like “Cafe Bueno,” “Wild Ginger,” and “Chop Chop” so we want to know who’s new in the hood! The “We the Free” girls and our customers have been discussing the possibilities and decided it would be fun to run a little contest…

WHOEVER GUESSES WHAT THE NEW BUSINESS IS GETS A PRIZE! (Please note that the bacon- egg- and- cheese value is no more than $4. But hey, it’s a bacon egg and cheese! Any price is a good price.)

Check out the pictures we snapped of the shop front’s current state, prior to renovation:

The reflection made it hard to snap a shot of the inside behind the gates. What's new on Smith and Pacific? Guess right and win!

A random parking lot's on Smith and Pacific too. Kinda confusing since street parking is usually available.

And of course... "We the Free!"

And of course... "We the Free!"

So far we’ve had the following guesses! Post yours to win.

– Megan, the Assistant Store Manager: A Hardware Store (A very good guess since we have few of those on Smith Street)

– Cat, MIT: A Chick- Fil- A (Unlikely, but dreaming is always appreciated here at “We the Free.” Plus Atomic Wings on Smith Street does pretty well so it’s not totally left field to think this).

– Hal, One of Our Favorite Customer’s Friends: “Another Thai Restaurant” (Thai restaurants are exceptionally popular on Smith Street. A satirical speculation).

WHAT DO YOU THINK?!
